Štefan Janco narodený v roku 1969
Študoval na SUPŠ v Kremnici /1983-1987/ odbor dizajn. Po ukončení štúdia až do roku 1992 vyučoval v ĽŠU Partizánske výtvarný odbor. Od roku 1992 sa stal živnostníkom a založil firmu na výrobu úžitkovej keramiky, v ktorej pracoval na dizajne vlastných výrobkov. Od roku 2005 ukončil sériovú výrobu a venuje sa voľnej tvorbe.Takmer 20 rokov je členom Divadelného združenia Partizánske, s ktorým sa zúčastnil mnohých svetových festivalov. Venuje sa scénografii, za ktorú získal aj niekoľko ocenení.Od roku 1997 podľahol plachetniciam a moru, čo sa odzrkadľuje v jeho voľnej tvorbe.V súčasnosti tvorí vo svojom ateliéri v Partizánskom a vyučuje deti výtvarnú výchovu v Základnej umeleckej škole.

 

He studied design field at the SUPŠ in Kremnica / 1983-1987 /. After the completion of his study in 1992, he started to teach Art field in ĽŠU Partizánske. Since 1992 he became a professional tradesman and established the company in the manufacture of industrial ceramics, in which he worked on the design of its products. Since 2005 he completed a series production and he started to pay interest to free production. In addition, he is a member of the association called Partizánske Theater for nearly 20 years, with whom he participated in many festivals worldwide. It is devoted to set design and he won several awards in this area. Since 1997 he is interested in sailing and that is reflected in his spare production. At present, Štefan Janco creates his products in his studio in Partizánske and teaches some children the art in a primary school of art.
